Drug investigation leads to charges against two Lethbridge residents

Lethbridge… ALERT’s Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU-Lethbridge) wrapped up a drug trafficking investigation with charges against two Lethbridge residents. Quantities of meth, cocaine, heroin and marihuana were seized with a street value of $6,056 and a cash seizure of $3,795. 

CFSEU-Lethbridge is an integrated team of Lethbridge Regional Police Service (LRPS) members and RCMP who work together to address organized crime in the community. On October 22, members from CFSEU – Lethbridge and the Lethbridge Regional Police Service arrested Byron PAGE (35 years of age) and Charlene KANE (43 years of age) without incident in the 1800 Block of 3rd Avenue South, Lethbridge.  A CDSA Warrant was executed at a residence in the 900 block of 7 Street North, Lethbridge where PAGE and KANE reside.  Three females were found inside the residence, two females were minors and subsequently released into the care of adults.  A third female was arrested and identified.

As a result, PAGE and KANE are charged with multiple CDSA and criminal code charges and had scheduled court appearance October 23rd. The third female was released without charges.
