Alberta Specialized Law Enforcement Training (ASLET)
Alberta Specialized Law Enforcement Training (ASLET) was the training arm of CISA from its inception in 1999 until April 2009, when it became part of ALERT. Intelligence and enforcement officers on ALERT teams conduct sophisticated, long-term criminal investigations that require advanced training and knowledge. ASLET supports police by providing specialized training to enhance the ability of officers to detect, disrupt, and dismantle serious and organized crime in Alberta.

The ASLET training program offers courses, workshops and seminars focused on the investigation of serious and organized crime. The curriculum and content of ASLET courses is continuously evolving to keep current with changes in the fields of criminal intelligence and investigation. The goal of ASLET training is to offer courses which will increase investigator professionalism, knowledge and skill.

Police officers interested in attending an ASLET course should login to the members only section to view the current course schedule and access registration information. For new members, please contact ASLET for login access.
