Behind the Scenes of a Million-Dollar Marihuana Grow-Op

Calgary… Residential marihuana grow-ops present a number of hazards to neighbourhoods. The following video being released by Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT) explores the hazards within the site of a recent Calgary grow-op.

The video shows a recent seizure ALERT’s Green Team completed in late January 2015. Nearly 900 marihuana plants, worth an estimated $1 million, were removed from a home in the Martindale community of North East Calgary. The home was deemed uninhabitable by health inspectors.
